PARADISE UNLEASHED

Here we are, living in an age
Where everything is a race,
Where everyone wants to end up victorious,
In all possible ways.

This competition for me, is a great aspect,
For it makes life livelier every day,
Even better it can grow,
If we think of it in a different way.

Rather than  vying for  power and fame,
Can’t we vie for being more caring and kind?
Rather than  vying for money and glory,
Cant we vie for a better soul and mind?

A competition of being a better human,
By destroying all the satanity,
A competition for a better world,
By rediscovering humanity.

Ultimately everyone will be a winner,
And the efforts will not go in vain,
As the reward will be very pleasing,
When humanity back, we will gain.

Can’t we participate in this competition?
Can’t we rediscover humanity?
Can’t we have inhumanity ceased?
Can’t we have a paradise unleashed?

This is an awesome piece Nikesh, I think THIS is the competition everyone should be in, not one for fame or fortune.

You sum up the competitive world so well. We all are lost in its pursuit. If only we could pause and contemplate on the finer aspects of life we would not have to chase happiness. A great post very well presented.
