You’re not living like you should be,
You’re running out of peace and glee,
You’re only running for fame and glory,
Should ‘that’ be your life story?
How can you be so very insane?
How can you live with so much pain?
You want to laugh but you don’t even grin,
Have you killed yourself from within?
You’re exhausted, You’re fed up,
But you don’t want to give up,
You want, but you can’t get bliss,
Tell me, what kind of life is this?
Has life made you complicated?
Or is it the other way around?
Question yourself,question your mind,
I’m sure, one day, the answer you’ll find.
Remember when you were a child,
Your mind and heart, both were mild,
I know you regret those days,
So, why not get back to those ways?
Run for glory, I don’t deny,
But you can’t handle that glory,
Until your soul is not free and mild,
Until you don’t live like a child!
– Nikesh Lilani
The concept of being like a child, keeping things simple is not new. But, you gift wrapped it so beautifully, and put forward the eclectic wisdom wisely! The very first line is so relatable!

Ya, it indeed is difficult to live like a child since that ego comes into action. And I’m pretty happy that even you think so. Thank you for reading this one!

This is amazingly written, things like technology and studies shouldn’t hamper the delicate mind of a child. Great poem!

This is our problems nowadays is that we are running away from the child within us, we run from the purity, innocence, and the deep feelings. We are just keep chasing glory from this life and have forgotten our souls needs. Very deep keep it up.
I like that one too
