DOWN THE MEMORY LANE

Emotions and memories begin to flow, 
As down the memory lane I go,
Walking through the memories of past,
Memories that forever will last.

With tears, my eyes are filled,
In spite of agony, my heart is thrilled,
As all the moments, I relive,
I can’t describe what bliss they give.

Feelings of being more human I gain, 
Every time I walk down the lane,
Now, when about humanity I wonder, 
It simply strikes me like thunder.

How inhuman everyone has grown,
By whom are such seeds sown?
Down the lane I only see humans,
Why for me, now all are demons?

Is it true whatever I can see?
Or do the demons lie within me?
A question that blows me apart,
Have I still got love in my heart?

Several questions in my mind,
With answers yet to find,
I sink deep into blissful pain,
As I walk down the memory lane!
